Our annual Angel Island Regatta, which began in 1978, took place on a sunny November 6th. Gordie Nash officiated was the grand master and guided 15 rowers around the Island . The ladies took the lead with Diane Davis, Kellee McDonald and Mary McLachlan taking 1st-3rd places in the singles… Extra points to John Sanger who came up from Santa Barbara to participate. We lucked out with the weather, tides and most importantly with incredible potluck dishes. As Gordie said it was a ‘fast short course’ with wonderful vittles and post race hashing. We hope to have some pictures for you soon. In the meantime, here are the official results. Congratulations to all the participants!
