Instruction And Certification

Instruction At OWRC

Coach Tom Kelly with a student

Since our founding in 1985 we have successfully taught hundreds of people how to row and how to row better.

Our instruction, like all our rowing, is in single sculls and for adults or teens (with limitations). We do not train in sweep rowing (crew) or offer a youth program.

In addition to the Learn-To-Row course for novices, our coaches offer regular clinics and classes for rowers of varying experience. Even those with decades on the water take advantage of the coaching and training help.
